Benefits Consistent practice of three or more times per week yields the most benefits. Strength, flexibility, calmness of mind, endurance, and a development of ease with yourself and the world around you are all available to the regular practitioner.

Scholarships Stirling Yoga has a scholarship fund for those students who would like to attend classes or receive private lessons but are unable to afford them. Contact David or Nadira with your request.

Costs Classes are $15 to drop in. A ten class card costs $120 and is designed to be used within three months. Special circumstances are taken into consideration.

Private lessons cost $100 per session and last approximately one hour. Half hours and multiple sessions can defray the cost. Physical Therapy prescribed by an M.D. can be billed through Medicare and/or medical insurance.

Request Line We are constantly being given great ideas for classes. Once in awhile we use them. If you have a special class or need, please feel free to email, phone, write, or just stop by the studio.

New Classes The intermediate class on Saturday at 10 a.m. is a good place to start for first timers. It draws on traditional poses, breathing systems and philosophy. The Silver Age class on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. focuses on the needs and abilities of students who require a slower, gentler class. It is open to all regardless of age, gender or political affiliation. Stirling Yoga gives a special thanks to Smith at Peconic Landing for spearheading the effort for this class.
